Our Cleft and Craniofacial Team was established in the year 2000 by the late Dr Jyostna Murthy. We moved to our brand new state of the art facility at Sree Balaji Medical College and Rela Hospital Campus, Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research in 2022. Our operating facility at Dr Rela Institute & Medical Centre is JCI accredited and is comparable to the top centers anywhere in the world. Our team comprises of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Maxillofacial Surgeons, Paediatricians, Orthodontists, Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP), Audiologists, Otorhinolaryngologists (ENT Specialists), Feeding Specialists, Nutritionists, Preventive and Conservative Dental Specialists, Specialist Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Anaesthesiologists and others.

We are a committed multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to restoring children, adolescents and adults born with cleft lip, palate and other craniofacial anomalies to their full genetic potential. My team and I spare no effort in delivering the best possible comprehensive care to our patients in any given situation and justifiably, we take great pride in our work. The results and our patients speak for themselves. We endeavour to deliver top of the line management for every patient irrespective of their socioeconomic condition. In this effort, we are supported by several philanthropic non-profit organizations, the principal one being Smile Train with whom we have been associated for over two decades.
